Julian Troiano – Leader (vocals, keyboard), Sasha Molotkow (acoustic and electric guitar, backing vocals), Aaron Teelucksingh (bass, backing vocals), George Murga (trumpet), Tracey Soman (drums), Allie Kennedy (vocals)

With a diverse and eclectic sound from talented professional and student musicians in the area, the Youth4Music Toronto ensemble comprises Youth4Music Ambassadors who connected at the 1st Annual Youth4Music Leadership Symposium in 2015. Their purpose is to celebrate the importance of music education and to support Youth4Music plans for “learning, creating, making and valuing music in Canada”.

A recent graduate of Metalworks Institute’s Music Performance and Technology Program with a full-ride scholarship, Julian is a talented composer and performer. He has been surrounded by music his entire life starting with his Uncle, Music Hall of Famer Domenic Troiano. Julian recently released his newest single, Try. He makes a living in the music industry by performing at corporate and private events, teaching study groups and proctoring exams at Metalworks Institute, engineering and producing artists, and leading product demos on behalf of Roland Canada’s Street Tribe.


About Allie Kennedy

Allie has been singing and playing piano from a very young age. She began voice lessons at thirteen with the Royal Conservatory of Music, completing grade 10 and receiving the Conservatory’s Regional Gold Medal for Grade 8 voice in Ontario and Quebec. She is a graduate of Western University’s vocal music program, and worked as assistant stage manager with UWOpera. She also had the opportunity to perform with the Coalition for Montreal’s Music Monday Showcase, and the We Are One official video. Allie is currently employed with St Olaves Anglican Church as their choir’s lead soprano.


About Sasha Molotkow

A motivated and engaging leader, Sasha attended Oakwood Collegiate music program where he played acoustic bass and clarinet. He achieved his advanced skill level on the guitar through self-study and dedicated hard work. Many will recognize Sasha from performing in Montréal’s Music Monday Showcase concert and the Music Monday Anthem – We Are One (Official Video). He also led the popular Creative Jam Space at the 1st Annual Youth4Music Leadership Symposium in 2015. Sasha is lead guitarist in Return for Refund, an active Toronto-based hard rock trio.


About George Murga

George Murga better known as “Triple Sí”, is a stimulating Toronto, ON based commercial/lead trumpeter. Since the beginning of his career George has established himself in the music scene not only as a musician but as a energetic educator and performing arts advocate. He has had the pleasure sharing the stage with some of industry’s top names such as Jackie Richardson, John Scofield, and Israel Houghton. George can be seen performing frequently throughout Canada and the United States. Currently George is a cast member of Toronto’s very own multi-dimensional show, 7Sould.


About Tracey Soman

Tracey began her musical journey at the age of four, starting piano lessons with her mom at her in-home music studio.  She later joined the Bach Children’s Chorus where she developed her vocal talents for ten years.  A recent graduate from the University of Western’s Vocal program and Fanshawe’s Music Industry Arts program, she is a multi-instrumentalist with her abilities spanning over a variety of instruments including the Drums, Steel Pan, and the Guitar.  Currently, Tracey teaches music privately and performs at corporate and private events.


About Aaron Teelucksingh

Aaron is a young, up-and-coming Toronto musician, recently graduated from business school and currently collaborating on multiple musical projects throughout the city. Aaron has been playing with Julian Troiano’s band since early 2014, following a friendship between the two members that dates back to their high school days together. In addition to bass, Aaron’s two primary instruments are classical violin and guitar with a heavy focus on soul, funk, and RnB.
